We are seeking a UI/UX Intern to join our team for a 6-month unpaid internship, designed to provide hands-on experience in user experience and interface design. The role involves close collaboration with our development team to enhance the look and feel of our software products while ensuring an exceptional user experience. Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to a full-time position with our company.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mockups, wireframes, and prototypes to visualize user interfaces effectively.
- Create and refine visual designs for software products to align with branding and usability goals.
- Support the development team with front-end implementation and integration.
- Conduct research on user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions.
- Work on user experience enhancements through human-centered design principles.
- Maintain effective communication within cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience or interest in working on UI/UX design projects.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- Basic understanding of human-centered design principles.
- Familiarity with creating mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to address design challenges.
- (Educational background in Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required – can be discussed during the interview.)
