Kamayi is seeking an experienced Principal Software Engineer (.Net) to join our engineering team. This role will play a pivotal part in the development of scalable, high-performance .NET Core applications. The Principal Software Engineer will work closely with the development team, contribute to architectural decision-making, and drive innovation in the software solutions we deliver to our clients. Key Responsibilities

Software Design and Development:
Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core software solutions for complex systems, ensuring code quality, performance, and scalability.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and operations, to implement new features and provide input on application design.
Optimization and Troubleshooting:
Identify and address performance issues, optimizing applications for peak performance and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Security & Compliance:
Ensure software applications meet the highest standards for security, compliance, and data integrity, in line with best practices.
Staying Updated:
Keep up-to-date with the latest developments, trends, and tools in the .NET Core development ecosystem, incorporating new technologies and techniques into our projects.
Leadership:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, facilitating an innovative development environment that encourages creativity and excellence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in .NET Core development.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud computing concepts (serverless, microservices, containerization).
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expert knowledge of MS SQL Server and database management.
- Experience with modern tools and frameworks like Elasticsearch, Kubernetes, Docker.
- Proficient in version control tools like Git and able to work with AI peer programming.
Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail:
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in software solutions.
Methodologies:
- Familiarity with Agile development practices, enabling rapid development cycles and iterative delivery.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience in the design and deployment of cloud-native applications.
Expertise with container orchestration using Kubernetes and microservices architecture.
