Ghani Ceramics Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Account Officer to join our finance team in Faisalabad. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the financial health of the company through accurate financial statements analysis, data reporting, and financial task management. Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports to provide insights into the company’s performance.
- Accounts Management:
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring they are accurate and up-to-date.
- Reconcile financial transactions and resolve discrepancies as necessary.
- Financial Data Processing:
- Process financial data for budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly/year-end closings.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial reports and ensure compliance with internal controls and legal regulations.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support business processes.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding the financial health of the company and provide recommendations for improvement.
- SAP System Support:
- Use SAP (or related financial software) to track and manage financial transactions.
- Assist in ensuring proper use of SAP for invoicing, payments, and record-keeping.
- General Accounting Duties:
- Perform day-to-day accounting activities such as entering data, processing invoices, and maintaining expense records.
- Attention to Detail & Compliance:
- Ensure financial records and reports are compliant with tax laws and accounting standards.
- Pay special attention to detail to avoid errors and ensure the integrity of all financial documents.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
- Hands-on experience working with SAP or similar financial software systems is highly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex financial data.
- Familiarity with financial statements, financial reports, and basic accounting procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for interacting with internal stakeholders and teams.
- Software Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
- Working knowledge of SAP or related accounting software is required.
