Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various methods such as networking, cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies to inform business development strategies.
  • Customer Service: Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, offering exceptional customer service and understanding of client needs.
  • Business Growth: Support sales teams in identifying new revenue streams and business partnerships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., accounting, tax, ERP implementation) to ensure alignment of business development activities with organizational goals.
  • Analytics: Utilize your analytical skills to assess opportunities and tailor business development efforts accordingly to maximize impact.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for senior management to track progress against business development goals and initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in lead generation, market research, and customer relationship management is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of market trends and customer behavior.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of financial services, including tax preparation and ERP solutions, is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software like QuickBooks, Wave, Xero, and ERP platforms such as SAP B1 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 is beneficial but not mandatory.
