The Factory Operations Section Incharge (P2) will oversee daily factory operations and play a key role in ensuring seamless production, quality control, and process optimization. This role requires managing various reports, planning for safety, and coordinating with teams to achieve operational targets. You will also take part in strategic activities, including project analysis, KPI auditing, and business plan alignment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Factory Operations Section Incharge (P2), you will be responsible for the following:

Operational Oversight

  • Supervise day-to-day factory operations, ensuring smooth workflows and meeting production targets.
  • Prepare and manage production reports, including UPH (Units Per Hour) and UPMH (Units Per Man Hour) metrics.

Budget and Planning

  • Conduct monthly budget analysis to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Plan and implement 6S and safety measures, creating a safe and organized work environment.

Project Management

  • Analyze projects and evaluate departmental performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Ensure timely completion of key tasks and projects as per defined timelines.

KPI Management

  • Audit KPIs monthly to ensure 100% accuracy and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies for meeting and exceeding KPI targets.

Coordination and Communication

  • Create and present weekly and monthly meeting reports, aligning with HODs (Heads of Departments) for efficient communication.
  • Follow up on MOMs (Minutes of Meetings) and ensure timely execution of action points.

Process Development

  • Develop new SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure implementation of existing ones.
  • Drive improvements in reporting and meeting management processes.

Business Planning

  • Arrange and coordinate monthly, semi-annual, and annual business meetings to ensure alignment with the overall business plan.

Team Management

  • Plan and manage worker-related projects, including team-building activities to enhance productivity and morale.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: A degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in factory operations or a similar role. Experience in managing production and reporting is highly preferred.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of KPI management, budget planning, and reporting.
    • Proficiency in 6S safety planning and implementation.
    • Excellent project management and analytical skills.
    • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to coordinate across teams.
    • Ability to develop and implement effective SOPs.
