Role Description
As an Educational Consultant at Times Consultant, you will be instrumental in helping students select the right educational path based on their goals, aspirations, and potential. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in building relationships and providing personalized guidance. You will participate in public speaking, lead informative sessions, and be an active part of a supportive, collaborative team. This role offers both personal and professional development, helping you grow into a skilled Consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Guidance and Consultation: Advise students on educational opportunities abroad and help them make informed decisions about their career paths.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients through effective communication and empathy.
- Public Speaking & Informational Sessions: Lead sessions to educate students and communities about foreign education opportunities.
- Collaboration with Colleagues: Work with team members to deliver valuable services to students, contributing to the overall success of the consultancy.
- Continuous Professional Development: Participate in training and professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Student Support: Provide tailored advice and support to students throughout their study abroad application process.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Graduation or professional qualification; a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in educational consulting or student counselling is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and engage effectively with clients.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Digital Literacy: Proficient in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with study abroad processes, foreign education systems, and student counselling is a plus.
