We are looking for an Associate Architect specializing in fintech and stock trading applications with significant hands-on experience in Node.js. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance trading platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading the architectural design of fintech solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, secure fintech and stock trading solutions using Node.js.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs that meet client and regulatory standards.
- Develop and enhance backend systems for real-time data processing and high-frequency trading.
- Work with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment processes.
- Integrate APIs for financial data, trading platforms, and real-time stock market feeds.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, cybersecurity protocols, and industry best practices.
- Provide mentorship to junior developers and promote best practices in Node.js development.
Key Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of professional development experience, with at least 4+ years in Node.js.
- Expertise: Fintech and stock trading application development.
- Knowledge Areas:
- Financial markets, trading systems, and stock data structures.
- API integrations (e.g., FIX protocol, Bloomberg, Reuters) and microservices architecture.
- Database systems: SQL, NoSQL, or time-series databases.
- Technical Tools:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Real-time data processing and high-availability systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in blockchain or AI/ML applications in fintech.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as MiFID II or SEC regulations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
