We are looking for a Direct Response Copywriter who can harness the power of AI tools like Claude AI and ChatGPT, combined with thorough product research, to create high-converting copy that accelerates customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities

  1. Product Research & Copy Development (20%)
    • Conduct detailed product research to identify Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) and mechanisms that distinguish products in the market.
    • Create compelling landing pages, email sequences, and ad copy that leverage AI tools like Claude AI and ChatGPT to craft high-converting content.
    • Collaborate with design teams to ensure seamless integration of copy and visuals.
  2. Ongoing Campaign Optimization (80%)
    • Write and optimize product descriptions and copy following e-commerce SEO best practices.
    • Develop customer personas and pain-point analysis to create targeted copy that resonates with audiences.
    • A/B test headlines, email subject lines, and ad variations weekly to improve performance.
    • Track and analyze campaign performance, adjusting copy to enhance engagement, conversions, and ROI.
    • Conduct competitive analysis and apply insights to refine messaging and product positioning.
  3. AI and Data-Driven Strategies
    • Train AI tools to improve prompt outcomes and streamline content creation, reducing editing time by 25%.
    • Continuously integrate 3-5 unique mechanisms or USPs into campaigns to boost conversion rates.
    • Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI and direct response marketing to ensure top-tier performance.
  4. Collaboration & Team Development
    • Share research findings and collaborate with product teams to ensure USPs are validated and leveraged in marketing.
    • Host workshops on utilizing product USPs in direct response campaigns and help develop a repository of copy strategies and insights.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 4 years of professional copywriting experience in e-commerce.
    • Proven expertise in conducting and applying product research to create compelling and high-converting copy.
    • In-depth knowledge of direct response marketing, including principles established by Gary Halbert, Dan Kennedy, and David Ogilvy.
    • Experience with A/B testing, data analysis, and interpretation to refine campaigns.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in AI tools like Claude AI, ChatGPT, or Jasper.
    • Strong understanding of customer psychology and buyer behavior.
    • Competence in e-commerce platforms such as Shopify and Amazon.
    • Mastery of storytelling techniques to create persuasive, engaging content.
    • Strong SEO skills with the ability to write optimized copy for e-commerce.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Education:
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Portfolio:
    • A strong portfolio showcasing research-backed, high-converting e-commerce copy is required.
