Key Responsibilities

As an Auditor at QIMA, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting Audits: Perform audits of manufacturing sites for our clients’ suppliers. Areas of focus will include labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and compliance with applicable international standards or client-specific procedures.
  • Reporting Findings: Maintain vigilance during audits and document any violations. Provide detailed reports to clients regarding your findings and observations.
  • Ensuring Integrity: Conduct audits with integrity, understanding the long-term consequences your actions may have on the supplier, factory staff, and our clients.
  • Client Collaboration: Attend client meetings to offer your expertise in customizing quality control procedures based on their needs.
  • Operational Contribution: Contribute ideas to enhance the quality and efficiency of our operations.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a candidate who has:

  • Educational Background: A higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Relevant Knowledge:
    • Strong knowledge of standards such as SA8000, ISO14001, ICTI, C-TPAT, WRAP, BSCI.
    • Work experience in third-party auditing, with a focus on environmental audits.
  • Recent Experience: Recent experience conducting SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, or WRAP audits in the past 12 months.
  • Language Skills: Good command of English, both spoken and written.
  • Core Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and high integrity in carrying out audits.
