Zameen.com, a leading company in the real estate industry, is looking for a passionate Cook to join our Mall 35 Facility Management team in Rawalpindi, Punjab, Pakistan. Job Responsibilities

As a Cook at Zameen.com, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Food Preparation & Service:
    • Prepare meals according to recipes in a regular and consistent manner.
    • Ensure all food preparation is completed on time for the next shift.
  • Compliance with Standards:
    • Understand and follow all policies and procedures regarding food preparation, serving, and storage.
    • Meet or exceed industry standards for food quality, sanitation, and hygiene.
  • Team Coordination & Supervision:
    • Assign cleaning duties to kitchen staff as needed.
    • Assist in supervising kitchen staff and ensure the quality of food prepared.
    • Take an active role in the development and training of kitchen personnel.
  • Inventory & Waste Management:
    • Record production and waste on a regular and consistent basis.
    • Assist with inventory management, including accurate counting and tracking of supplies.
  • Scheduling & Menu Creation:
    • Assist with scheduling kitchen staff and resources.
    • Help with menu creation and contribute new ideas for meals and improvements.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all kitchen operations maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Cook position should have the following qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a full-service kitchen.
    • Solid knowledge of food preparation, sanitation standards, and inventory control systems.
  • Leadership & Coordination:
    • Ability to lead, direct, and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
    • Strong organizational skills and experience with scheduling and resource management.
  • Passion & Initiative:
    • A genuine passion for cooking and food preparation.
    • Initiative to contribute to the development of the culinary team and continuous improvement of kitchen operations.
