Job Responsibilities

  • Requirements Elicitation & Documentation:
    • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through effective stakeholder engagement.
    • Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS) to guide project development.
  • Project Planning & Execution:
    • Create detailed project plans that cover timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
    • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budget and timeline constraints.
  • Agile Methodologies:
    • Utilize Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban, to drive project execution.
    • Organize and facilitate sprints, stand-ups, and retrospectives for continuous improvement.
  • User Stories & Use Cases:
    • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and use cases that guide development teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with development, quality assurance (QA), and other teams to align project goals and ensure smooth project progress.
  • SDLC & STLC Management:
    • Oversee projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Documentation & Flow Diagrams:
    • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, to ensure clarity for all project stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in project management within software development.
    • Proficient in documentation (BRDs, FRDs, SRS) and technical writing.
  • Methodologies:
    • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
    • Ability to create user stories, use cases, and flow diagrams.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
    • Proficient in risk management and resource allocation.
  • Tools:
    • Familiarity with bug tracking tools and practices.
  • Collaboration Skills:
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with elicitation and documentation techniques.
  • Familiarity with software engineering principles and practices.
