Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust PHP-based applications, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth functionality across different environments.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.
  • Code Reviews & Mentoring: Lead code reviews to promote best practices, providing constructive feedback to improve team efficiency. Mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • RESTful APIs: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between different systems.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into projects where applicable.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all project deadlines and milestones are met, managing timelines and workflows effectively.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience in PHP development.
  • Proficiency in PHP: Strong expertise in PHP with experience in frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
  • OOP and Design Patterns: In-depth understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
  • Front-End Development: Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with proficiency in frameworks such as Vue.js, React, or Angular.
  • Database Knowledge: Hands-on experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Version Control: Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Docker).
  • Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and experience with server management.
  • Debugging: Strong analytical and debugging skills with an ability to solve complex issues efficiently.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and lead by example in a team setting.
