Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Research: Conduct comprehensive legal research using databases and legal texts to identify applicable statutes, case law, and relevant legal authorities.
  • Document Preparation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and editing various legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, agreements, and other related correspondence.
  • Case Management: Help prepare case files, organize legal documents, and ensure deadlines are met in compliance with procedural rules.
  • Court Procedures: Assist with court filings, legal document services, and attend court hearings when necessary.
  • Evidence Gathering: Collect, organize, and index relevant evidence for legal proceedings.
  • Client Communication: Interact with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel, providing updates and answering any questions related to case progress.
  • Administrative Support: Manage appointments, schedules, and correspondence for the legal team to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Continuous Learning: Keep up-to-date with changes in English law and legal procedures, seeking opportunities for professional growth.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and document legal processes, including meetings and project progress.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Essential:
    • A UK-recognized LLB degree.
    • Strong academic record and a solid understanding of legal principles.
    • Excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively.
    • Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
    • Capacity to work both independently and in collaboration with teams.
  • Preferred:
    • Completion of the UK BPTC/BPC (optional but advantageous).
    • Previous experience or internships in the legal field (preferred).
