We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our finance team at Royalton Hotel Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate should be proactive, well-organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Accounts Assistant, you will assist in managing daily financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the smooth processing of accounts transactions. Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day Accounting Operations: Assist with general accounting tasks such as data entry, maintaining financial records, and updating ledgers.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and receipts are accurately recorded.
- Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements with internal records, ensuring all discrepancies are identified and addressed promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, helping to analyze financial data and provide insights.
- Invoice & Expense Management: Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and manage petty cash transactions for accurate accounting records.
- Month-End Closing: Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all financial documents are accurately completed and filed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
- Experience: Prior experience in an accounting or similar role is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial practices.
- High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, for data entry and financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills for handling multiple financial tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, managing time effectively in a busy office environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
