We are seeking a full-time, on-site Account Trainee to join our team at NAQTAX Accounting and Taxation Services in Lahore. This position will offer you an invaluable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and taxation. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, learn essential financial processes, and support senior accountants.


Responsibilities

In your role as Account Trainee, you will be involved in various key tasks, including:

  • Accounting Assistance: Support senior accountants by assisting in managing financial records, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate transaction logs.
  • Taxation Tasks: Aid in preparing tax returns and assisting in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
  • Financial Analysis: Help in analyzing financial statements and identifying discrepancies.
  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded and updated in accounting software.
  • Assist in Audits: Work with auditors during audit processes to ensure all documents and records are compliant.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and assist in preparing internal reports and ensure proper filing of all relevant accounting documents.
  • Software Use: Use accounting software (and Microsoft Excel) to prepare data and reports as required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Basic Knowledge: Understanding of basic accounting principles, practices, and terminology.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally).
  • Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and senior management.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and grow within the accounting field.
