As an Accountant at Floor Mill, you will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, preparing budgets, and overseeing daily financial transactions. You will ensure compliance with financial regulations while providing timely and accurate financial analysis to support management decision-making. The Accountant will collaborate closely with the management team and contribute valuable insights to maintain and improve financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare and review budgets to ensure proper allocation of company resources.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and legal requirements.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform financial analysis and assist management in understanding financial trends and opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Assist with audits and work closely with auditors to provide necessary documentation.
- Prepare tax returns and ensure accurate filing in accordance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Handle banking transactions, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Maintain and update financial software and accounting systems.
- Advise management on financial decision-making and risk assessment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting practices and principles.
- Sound understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Prior experience in accounting or financial roles is a plus.
