Eastern Cone (SMC-PVT) LTD is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial reports, performing bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare financial reports and statements for monthly and annual reviews to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Tax Documentation
- Assist in preparing tax documents, ensuring adherence to legal tax requirements and deadlines.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process by creating projections and tracking spending to support company goals.
Financial Analysis
- Compile, review, and analyze financial statements and related periodicals to provide insights for decision-making.
Bank Reconciliation and Audits
- Conduct periodic bank reconciliations and assist in cyclical audits to ensure smooth and accurate financial operations.
Ad-Hoc Reports
- Create ad-hoc reports to meet business needs, including data analysis and recommendations for financial improvements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in financial analysis, tax preparation, and budget management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is essential for creating reports and managing data.
- Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals accurately.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to make informed financial decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration within the team.
