We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee all accounting and financial functions, ensuring compliance, accurate reporting, and smooth financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a hands-on approach and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities
As the Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting, financial reporting, and compliance tasks, including:
- Accounting and Financial Reporting:
- Manage all accounting tasks such as journal entries, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Review financial reports related to key performance indicators (KPIs), profitability, and operational performance to ensure accuracy.
- Compliance and Internal Controls:
- Ensure that all accounting practices meet regulatory standards and company financial policies.
- Maintain strong internal controls to prevent discrepancies and uphold transparency.
- Budgeting and Financial Analysis:
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses for management review.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.
- Intercompany Transactions:
- Manage and reconcile intercompany transactions between Alpha Trading Corporation and HDP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and resolve discrepancies in intercompany agreements efficiently.
- Taxation and Regulatory Compliance:
- Prepare and file various tax returns such as VAT, income tax, and withholding tax, ensuring full compliance with local tax regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities and manage communications related to audits or inquiries.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Certification:
- Recognized accounting certification such as CMA, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is required.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
- At least 3 years of completed articleship.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
- Familiarity with local taxation regulations and compliance.
