Care Group, a leading conglomerate in Pakistan with operations in manufacturing, real estate, retail, and more, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join the team at Buzzazi in Multan, Punjab. This is a full-time, on-site role where the Accounts Manager will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations within the organization. As Care Group continues to expand, this role will be key in driving financial strategy and supporting the company’s continued growth.


Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Manage a team of accounting professionals responsible for financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring they are motivated and meeting departmental goals.

Talent Development:

  • Implement training programs for new and existing accounting staff to enhance their skills and professional development.

Financial Control & Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain internal controls and accounting guidelines to ensure accurate financial transactions and budget preparation.
  • Oversee the production of accurate, timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS standards.

Audit & Compliance:

  • Coordinate with external auditors, provide necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with relevant state and federal regulations.

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Provide strategic financial advice to the management team, including guidance on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.

Financial Analysis:

  • Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets, ensuring informed decision-making based on accurate financial data.

Required Skills and Abilities

Leadership:

  • Proven experience in leading and motivating accounting teams to achieve organizational goals.

Communication:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely.

Organizational Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Financial Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with an aptitude for financial analysis and forecasting.

Attention to Detail:

  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data and reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CA) are highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, audit coordination, and financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is a plus.
