Acrosoft.io is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting and finance to develop their career while contributing to our financial operations. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing timesheets, handling invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting key financial operations for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Timesheet and Payment Processing:
- Record and process timesheets for accurate time calculations and payments.
- Maintain ledgers and supporting documents related to paystubs, check copies, and receipts.
- Invoice and Receipt Management:
- Record monthly invoices based on timesheets, and process corresponding payments.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of sales receipts and manage overdue accounts receivable.
- Audit and Reconciliation:
- Conduct periodic audits of all payments and sales receipts to ensure accuracy.
- Perform bank reconciliation, manage bank dealings, and oversee cash management activities.
- Communication and Documentation:
- Address discrepancies in timesheets, sales receipts, and overdue accounts via email communication.
- Ensure thorough and error-free timekeeping, bookkeeping, and receipts/payment records.
Qualifications
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field (required).
- Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant work experience in accounting and finance.
- Proficient in using QuickBooks Online for accounting tasks.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with FBR Tax Return, PRA Return, and Bank Reconciliation Statements.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills to ensure accurate accounting records and financial reports.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in professional email writing.
