Union Developers is seeking a dynamic and experienced ERP Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO) Consultant with a specialization in Fixed Assets. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless management of financial processes, contributing to operational efficiency, compliance, and the overall financial health of the organization.

As an ERP FICO Consultant, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining ERP solutions to meet business requirements while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Solution Design and Implementation
    • Analyze business requirements and design ERP FICO solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Customize and configure ERP systems to align with organizational processes.
  2. System Configuration & Integration
    • Configure ERP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with financial accounting and controlling principles.
    • Collaborate with consultants from other ERP modules (MM, SD, PP, HR) for seamless integration.
  3. Fixed Asset Management & Testing
    • Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, ensuring proper classification and depreciation methods.
    • Conduct system testing to validate functionality and meet business requirements.
  4. Training, Documentation & Project Management
    • Develop training materials and provide ongoing user training/support.
    • Maintain comprehensive system documentation and assist in project planning for timely delivery.
  5. Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and financial regulations.
    • Generate financial reports and identify opportunities for process/system improvements.
  6. Collaboration
    • Work closely with third-party vendors, offshore teams, and internal stakeholders.
    • Align solutions with the company’s IT strategy and business goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 4+ years of hands-on experience in ERP FICO consulting, including system configuration and implementation.
    • Proven experience managing Fixed Assets processes within ERP systems.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling principles, and fixed asset management.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in ERP systems and tools.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical users.
