Dari Mooch is a dynamic company looking to expand our finance team. We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant who is detail-oriented and experienced with the Odoo ERP system. This role will primarily involve managing day-to-day accounting functions using Odoo, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting key business operations. Responsibilities
- Daily Accounting Operations: Manage and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries using Odoo ERP system.
- Financial Transactions & Verification: Process and verify invoices, expense claims, and financial transactions in Odoo.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Monthly Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing and generating monthly financial reports using Odoo’s reporting features.
- Invoice & Payment Management: Handle vendor bills, customer invoices, and manage payment processing.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized digital documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
- Month-End & Year-End Closing: Support in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax laws.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with the team to enhance financial processes and optimize Odoo usage.
- Courier Reconciliations: Assist in managing the courier reconciliations process.
Qualifications
- Education:
- B.Sc. in Accounting, M.Com, or ACCA part-qualified.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, particularly with the Odoo ERP system.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Pakistani accounting standards and tax regulations (GST, withholding tax, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of tax compliance procedures and preparation of tax returns.
