This role involves managing payroll processes, supporting recruitment and employee relations, and handling financial transactions for our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for over 200 employees biweekly (transitioning to weekly), using iSolved software.
  • Manage benefits administration, including payroll deductions and royalty payments to the franchisor.
  • Enter payroll journal entries into the general ledger and support month-end closing processes.
  • Review statements, examine disbursements, and prepare necessary financial reports.
  • Oversee accounts payable and manage expense reports.
  • Record all financial transactions, including debits and credits.
  • Reconcile over five bank accounts and manage business Visa/credit card activity.
  • Apply customer payments, issue credits or refunds, and follow up with delinquent accounts.
  • Prepare customized financial reports and assist with special projects.
  • Perform financial analysis, including budget vs. actual, prior-year comparisons, and trend analysis.
  • Assist with cost control measures and ensure compliance with internal processes.

Qualifications

  • Education: College education, preferably in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll.
  • Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including V-Lookup).
    • Proficiency in QuickBooks (both Online and Desktop preferred).
    • Experience with payroll software (ADP is preferred but not required).
    • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is a plus.
  • English: Professional-level English communication (written and verbal/voice).
  • Technology Requirements:
    • Computer with min. 25 Mbps internet speed.
    • HD Webcam, noise-canceling headset, and backup power supply.
    • Primary computer with Intel Core i5 or equivalent, 8 GB RAM or higher; backup with Intel Core i3, 4 GB RAM.
  • Clearance: Must provide either an NBI Clearance or Police Clearance (preferred) upon hiring.
  • Time-Tracking: Comfort with using Hubstaff time-tracking application.
