Key Responsibilities

As a System Administrator at YetiTech, your duties will include:

IT Service Management (ITSM):
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT-related queries via tools like Freshdesk.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop and maintain an efficient ticket-handling system, ensuring SLAs are met.
- Identify recurring issues and implement lasting solutions.
Tool Administration & User Management:
- Manage user accounts for platforms like Slack, Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
- Conduct routine security audits on accounts, permissions, and licenses.
- Optimize workflows and integrate tools to improve team productivity.
Hosting and Domain Management:
- Oversee WHMCS and cPanel environments, including hosting setups, domain purchases, and migrations.
- Configure DNS settings and install SSL certificates.
- Ensure hosting environments are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.
Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain internal IT systems, including hardware (laptops, desktops, networking equipment) and software.
- Enforce IT security protocols like firewalls and antivirus tools.
- Document IT policies, procedures, and configurations.
Training and Knowledge Sharing:
- Train team members on IT tools, systems, and best practices.
- Create user-friendly guides for troubleshooting and common tasks.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of hosting environments (WHM, cPanel, Plesk) and DNS management.
- Experience in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools like Freshdesk or Jira Service Desk.
- Expertise in website optimization techniques, including caching, CDN setup, and performance monitoring.
- Solid understanding of IT security protocols, including encryption and intrusion detection.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in system administration or ITSM.
- Proven ability to manage WHMCS, cPanel, domain configurations, and SSL certificates.
- Demonstrated experience in user management across tools like Slack, Atlassian, and Google Workspace.
Education & Certifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications like ITIL, CompTIA Security+, AWS SysOps Administrator, or cPanel & WHM Administrator are a plus.
