Greeka.com, a leading travel platform promoting Greece for over 25 years, is looking for a passionate Junior Travel Agent Operator to join our remote team. As a part of our growing company, you will be involved in managing and processing travel bookings across multiple departments, ensuring seamless customer experiences for our global clientele. You’ll work with various travel services like car rentals, ferry tickets, transfers, and tours, with training provided to help you succeed. Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Travel Agent Operator at Greeka.com, your role will involve supporting various travel service departments and ensuring smooth operations across the company. Your daily tasks will include:
- Ferry Tickets Department:
- Process online bookings for ferry tickets.
- Handle customer requests, including ticket issuance, amendments, and cancellations.
- Car Rental & Hotel Department:
- Manage online bookings for car rentals and hotel reservations.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to bookings.
- Tours & Transfers Department:
- Issue vouchers after coordinating with customers and tour/transfer providers.
- Handle booking inquiries and customer requests.
- Accounting Department:
- Issue invoices, verify payments, and manage refunds.
- Ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Call Center Support:
- Answer customer calls, resolve issues, and direct inquiries to the relevant departments.
- Take note of customer requests and follow up with appropriate actions.
Qualifications
We’re looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, or related field (preferably from a recognized institution like COTHM).
- Skills & Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in a travel-related role.
- Typing Skills: Ability to type 40-60 words per minute.
- Language Skills: Strong proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and booking systems.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in processing customer requests and travel bookings.
- Organization Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
