AB {Ark} Private Limited is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Developer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in business development, specifically within the freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn. As a Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in driving our company’s growth by acquiring new clients, generating leads, and ensuring that business goals are met. This position requires strong communication skills, critical thinking, and a passion for fostering customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Freelancing Platforms Expertise: Maintain extensive knowledge of leading freelancing platforms such as Upwork, LinkedIn, Fiverr, and Freelancing.com.
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads by bidding on projects, using effective sales pitching skills to engage potential clients and win projects.
- Client Follow-ups: Ensure timely follow-ups with clients to build strong relationships, address concerns, and move negotiations towards closing deals.
- Proposal Preparation: Prepare clear and well-defined proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) for projects awarded by clients, ensuring all project requirements are captured accurately.
- Daily Reporting: Maintain and update daily reports that track the progress of leads, bids, proposals, and client communications.
- Client Meetings: Schedule and attend meetings with clients, working collaboratively with the sales team to close sales effectively.
- Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to ensure monthly revenue targets are achieved and exceeded by delivering excellent client service and closing deals.
- Revenue Growth: Focus on meeting and exceeding the monthly sales targets by consistently driving the generation of new leads and closing deals.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science (CS), or a related field is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in business development roles, especially with expertise in freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, and LinkedIn.
- Previous experience in working within IT-related fields and technical sales is required.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to build rapport with customers and generate leads through strong sales pitches.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Empathy and the ability to listen and understand customer needs.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment, with excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly.
- A strong drive to achieve business objectives and meet sales targets.
