DigiTroan is seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in leveraging online platforms such as Upwork, LinkedIn, and other business channels to generate quality leads and secure new business opportunities. If you have a passion for growing client relationships, negotiating deals, and meeting targets in a digital services environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Platform Management:
Maintain and optimize profiles on Upwork, LinkedIn, and other online freelancing/business platforms to attract potential clients. Actively monitor job postings, submit tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts. - Client Acquisition & Handling:
Identify and target mid-size businesses or startups that require marketing, development, or tech services. Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients by maintaining regular communication and delivering excellent customer service. - Market Research & Strategy:
Conduct market analysis to spot trends, identify emerging business opportunities, and propose strategies to enter new markets. Understand client needs and match them with the company’s services. - Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with marketing, sales, and delivery teams to ensure smooth project onboarding and execution. Prepare weekly progress reports to track lead generation, pipeline development, and revenue goals. - Networking & Outreach:
Build a network of connections on LinkedIn and other professional platforms. Represent DigiTroan at industry events, webinars, and forums to raise brand visibility and generate high-quality leads.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in business development, especially on freelancing platforms like Upwork, LinkedIn, and Fiverr.
- Strong background in client acquisition and relationship management, with experience across industries such as marketing, IT solutions, and development services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in writing persuasive proposals tailored to individual client needs.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, software development, or tech solutions is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management software to track progress and analyze performance.
- Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
