We are looking for a Business Development Officer (BDO) to join our team. Responsibilities
As a Business Development Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting & Lead Qualification: Research and identify new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, and other lead-generation strategies.
- Relationship Building: Engage with decision-makers to understand their business needs and position our solutions. Schedule meetings or demos to move leads through the sales funnel.
- Sales Tracking & Reporting: Regularly track your leads and opportunities, providing updates on progress, outcomes, and potential sales.
- Sales Presentation & Negotiation: Present our tailored solutions to potential clients and negotiate terms to close deals.
- Performance-driven Results: Work towards achieving sales targets and maximizing commission-earning potential through exceptional sales performance.
Qualifications
Required:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development.
- Self-starter: Motivated and able to work independently, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong communication skills: Comfortable engaging with prospects via phone, email, and social platforms (such as LinkedIn).
- Sales-driven mindset: Motivated by performance-based rewards and comfortable working in a results-oriented environment.
- Organizational skills: Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple sales opportunities effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in a remote work setting.
- Familiarity with CRM tools for tracking leads and sales activities.
- Knowledge of the IT, recruitment, or logistics industry would be an asset, but not required.
