ServiceNow Business Analyst

Stewart Pakistan is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Business Analyst to join its IT Service Management (ITSM) Team. This position plays a key role in shaping the IT processes and ensuring smooth operations of the IT service platform based on ServiceNow. As a ServiceNow Business Analyst, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of IT processes by working closely with business and technical teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management & Requirement Collection:
    • Manage stakeholders and collect detailed business requirements for ITSM processes and ServiceNow application needs.
    • Design solutions that address both process and technical requirements effectively.
  • Documentation & Testing:
    • Write user stories using agile methodologies, ensuring they capture key business needs.
    • Work alongside the development team to create acceptance criteria and necessary metrics.
    • Test configurations end-to-end as they are developed, ensuring alignment with business needs and expectations.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Serve as a key liaison between business owners and the ServiceNow development team.
    • Communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders in an easily understandable manner.
    • Coordinate with relevant teams to make sure there is a clear understanding of stories to be developed.
  • Agile Support & Sprint Involvement:
    • Represent business interests in sprint reviews and actively participate in the sprint process.
    • Schedule meetings, take meeting minutes, and maintain issue logs to track project progress.
  • Ongoing Process Improvement:
    • Continuously work to identify opportunities for improvement in both technical solutions and business processes.
    • Participate in ensuring smooth and efficient ServiceNow operations and process executions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Administration, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in roles such as IT Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Systems Analyst.
  • At least three years of experience working within the ServiceNow platform, supporting business analyst roles and driving results.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with business process documentation and agile methodologies.
  • Practical knowledge of ServiceNow platforms such as ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, IRM, and SPM.
  • Proficiency in gathering and translating requirements into end-user stories.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Certifications:

  • ITIL Certification is preferred.
  • ServiceNow-specific certifications are a plus.
