Mogi I/O is seeking a skilled JavaScript/TypeScript Visualization Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract basis. This remote, full-time role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies in the OTT, Podcast, and Short Video Apps domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and data visualization, especially using tools like TikZ/PGF and D3.js. Responsibilities

  • Code Development: Write clean, reusable, and efficient JavaScript and TypeScript code, emphasizing scalability and maintainability.
  • Visualization Creation: Develop complex data visualizations and interactive graphics using TikZ/PGF, ensuring they are fully integrated within web applications.
  • Frontend Development: Work with React, Redux, HTML5, and CSS3 to build a seamless user experience.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with backend developers to ensure the integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Code Quality: Participate in code reviews and follow best practices to maintain high code quality and consistent documentation.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility for all developed visualizations.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead by example in implementing best practices for scalable, efficient code in a component-driven architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years in JavaScript/TypeScript development, with hands-on experience in React and Redux.
  • Visualization: Strong expertise with TikZ/PGF, D3.js, and other charting/graphical rendering libraries.
  • State Management: Proficient understanding of ES6+, state management with Redux, and handling application state efficiently.
  • Tools & Practices: Experience with version control systems (Git), familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Design Tools: Knowledge of design tools such as Figma or Sketch is a plus.
  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Communication: Excellent written and spoken English communication skills for collaborating within the team and interacting with stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with SVG and custom graphical rendering techniques.
  • Familiarity with other front-end technologies such as Vue or Angular.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms or experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
