micro1 is looking for a skilled Penetration Tester to join our team on a contract basis. As a Penetration Tester, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in various systems and applications, ensuring a high level of security across all platforms while training cutting-edge AI models. Key Responsibilities
As a Penetration Tester, your responsibilities will include:
- Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on various systems, applications, and AI-generated platforms to identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- AI Interaction & Analysis: Develop test prompts to explore AI boundaries, interpret AI-generated responses, and analyze both expected and anomalous outcomes to improve security.
- Vulnerability Assessment: Identify, assess, and prioritize vulnerabilities in network systems, applications, and AI solutions.
- Reporting & Recommendations: Provide detailed vulnerability assessment reports that include clear actionable insights and solutions to mitigate risks.
- Collaborative Work: Work closely with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement improved security measures.
- Security Protocols: Contribute to the development of security protocols and procedures aimed at strengthening system defenses.
- Stay Current: Continuously monitor the latest hacking techniques and security trends to identify potential emerging threats and mitigation strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must have the following qualifications and experience:
- Cybersecurity Experience: Demonstrated experience in penetration testing and security assessments, including social engineering tests.
- Ethical Hacking & Network Security: A proven background in ethical hacking, network security, and implementing security measures to safeguard systems.
- Vulnerability Assessment Proficiency: Strong proficiency with penetration testing tools, such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nessus, or similar.
- Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver technical findings clearly to diverse teams.
- Remote Work Ability: Capable of working independently in a fully remote setting, managing tasks efficiently without direct supervision.
- Problem-Solving Skills: High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- AI Knowledge: Familiarity with AI models, especially large language models, and their application in security.
- Certifications: OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), or equivalent credentials.
- Experience with Assessment Frameworks: Knowledge and experience with frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or PCI DSS would be beneficial.
- Security Tools Experience: Experience using various advanced security assessment tools and frameworks in penetration testing and vulnerability analysis.
