React and TikZ Graphics Engineer (Contract – 6 Months)

Mogi I/O is seeking a talented React and TikZ Graphics Engineer with strong expertise in front-end development and graphical rendering for a 6-month full-time contract. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript and a robust understanding of TikZ/PGF, D3.js, and other data visualization technologies. The role focuses on creating complex data visualizations and interactive graphics to enhance the user experience across web platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Code Development: Write clean, reusable, and efficient code while focusing on scalability and maintainability.
  • Component Architecture: Build and maintain a modular, component-driven architecture using React, Redux, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Graphical Rendering: Create interactive, complex data visualizations using TikZ/PGF, D3.js, and other front-end technologies for graphical representation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end applications seamlessly with server-side services.
  • Code Quality: Participate in peer code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and TikZ/PGF (and/or similar graphics and data visualization libraries).
  • Core Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of ES6+, React, Redux, and state management.
    • Expertise in graphical data visualization, specifically with TikZ/PGF and D3.js.
    • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Additional Skills (Nice-to-Have):
    • Experience with design tools such as Figma or Sketch for UI/UX design integration.
    • Familiarity with charting libraries and working with SVG for interactive graphics.
    • Understanding of Git version control, Agile methodologies, and related practices.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
