Diamond Group of Industries, established in 1974, is one of Pakistan’s most prominent conglomerates, housing renowned brands such as Diamond Supreme Foam, Dolcé Vita, Diamond Tyres & Tubes, Diamond Jumbolon, and Dolce Vita Home.

As part of our growth in luxury retail furniture, we are looking for a creative and experienced Senior Furniture Designer to join our team in Lahore. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design innovative furniture pieces for Dolce Vita Home, the largest luxury furniture brand in Pakistan.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, and develop innovative and functional furniture products.
  • Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models using industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Collaborate with carpenters, fabricators, and production teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work closely with the interior design team to align furniture designs with overarching project themes and space aesthetics.
  • Select and recommend materials, finishes, and design solutions that enhance product durability, comfort, and aesthetics.
  • Manage the entire design process from concept creation to prototype development and final production.
  • Research market trends and implement design improvements based on feedback to keep offerings aligned with customer demands.
  • Ensure all designs comply with ergonomic standards and optimize for functionality and posture wellness.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, design reviews, and client presentations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Interior Design, Product Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in furniture design, carpentry, or product development.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, SolidWorks, or other industry-relevant tools.
  • A strong understanding of interior design principles and furniture ergonomics.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail and a flair for functional design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and visualization skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with diverse teams, including carpenters, fabricators, and designers.
  • Solid knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture construction methods, and production processes.
