As a Video Editor at BoolMind, you will work closely with a talented team to create captivating content for a variety of platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Video Editing:
    Edit raw video footage into engaging, polished content for different platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
  • Collaboration:
    Work alongside producers, designers, and content creators to ensure that all video content aligns with the project’s vision, goals, and overall strategy.
  • Enhance Storytelling:
    Integrate music, sound effects, graphics, and other visual elements to amplify the narrative and create a stronger emotional impact.
  • Platform Optimization:
    Optimize videos for various platforms, ensuring that they meet technical specifications and audience expectations.
  • File Management:
    Maintain an organized system for video files to ensure smooth workflows, easy accessibility, and effective collaboration among team members.
  • Industry Awareness:
    Keep up-to-date with the latest video editing trends, techniques, tools, and industry standards to continually improve the content’s quality.
  • Time Management:
    Work under tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail and consistently delivering high-quality videos.

Qualifications

  • Experience:
    Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your creative work, particularly in social media and digital marketing.
  • Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
    Knowledge of motion graphics and animation using tools like Adobe After Effects is a plus.
  • Storytelling and Aesthetics:
    Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics in editing.
  • Teamwork and Independence:
    Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Organizational Skills:
    Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to juggle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills:
    Strong communication skills to understand project requirements and effectively provide creative input.
  • Technical Familiarity:
    Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and compression standards to ensure quality and compatibility across different platforms.
