This full-time hybrid role involves working on diverse web projects, with flexibility to work remotely part-time while maintaining office presence for essential tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- WordPress Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain dynamic WordPress websites tailored to client needs.
- Implement and customize themes and plugins to enhance functionality and aesthetics.
- Back-End Development:
- Manage and implement object-oriented programming (OOP) to build custom solutions within the WordPress environment.
- Collaborate with back-end development teams to optimize server-side processes.
- Quality Control:
- Perform regular testing and debugging to ensure seamless website performance and user experience.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the design team to create user-friendly, responsive, and visually appealing websites.
- Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction.
- Customization and Optimization:
- Optimize website performance, including page load speed and responsive design across all devices.
- Customize website functions and features based on client requests and project specifications.
- Client Interaction and Support:
- Provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical support to ensure the smooth running of developed websites.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in WordPress development (including themes, plugins, and custom post types).
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software development best practices.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
- Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in content management and website performance optimization.
