Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Vue.js Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Contribute to Software Development Improvements:
    • Participate in process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and software quality.
    • Collaborate with other developers, UX/UI designers, and the product team to build innovative features for our SaaS products.
  2. Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
    • Actively participate in daily scrum calls from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM (North American Eastern Time) to keep the development process transparent and efficient.
    • Work closely with the UX/UI designers to ensure that the designs are aligned with the development process and product goals.
  3. Deliver High-Quality Software Updates:
    • Ensure that software releases and product updates are delivered on time and meet the highest standards of quality.
    • Lead efforts to identify new solutions and features that will contribute to business growth and improved efficiency.
  4. Code Reviews and Developer Support:
    • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance and support to fellow developers.
    • Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to best coding practices, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
  5. Support Existing Customers:
    • Provide ongoing support to clients, ensuring that existing applications run smoothly and efficiently.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise in production systems, enhancing the overall user experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be a successful candidate, you should meet the following qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
    • At least 7 years of experience in the software industry, with a strong focus on web application development.
    • 5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js or React.js.
    • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
    • Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and version control systems like Git and Bitbucket.
    • Familiarity with SCRUM or Agile methodologies for managing development cycles.
    • Experience with DevOps tools such as NGINX, Bash scripting, Jira, and Bitbucket.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
