Times Consultant (Pvt.) Ltd., a leading education consultancy established in 2004, is looking for an Educational Counselor to join our team in Faisalabad. As part of a globally recognized organization, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their journey of selecting study abroad programs and assisting them in making informed educational choices. With over 500 global university representations and a strong team, you will help shape the futures of aspiring students by providing expert counseling and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Counseling & Guidance:
    • Offer personalized counseling sessions to students on available study abroad options, including selecting the right university and course based on their career goals and interests.
    • Advise students on application procedures, visa requirements, scholarships, and any other relevant matters related to international education.
  • Information Sharing & Public Speaking:
    • Conduct informational sessions about study abroad opportunities for students and their families, making a significant impact through public speaking engagements.
    • Help students understand various educational systems worldwide, the cultural environment in different countries, and how to navigate their study abroad experience.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, ensuring regular follow-ups to address any concerns and assist them throughout the application process.
    • Offer continuous support, offering empathy and understanding while helping students with their personal growth and educational journey.
  • Collaboration & Networking:
    • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in informative sessions and other networking events in the education sector.
    • Build relationships with universities and institutions to stay up-to-date on educational opportunities and requirements.
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Maintain accurate records of student profiles, their applications, and progress through the counseling process using the CRM system.
    • Provide up-to-date information on different educational systems, university admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

Key Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field such as education, counseling, or business. Professional qualifications in counseling or related fields are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience in educational counseling or the study abroad industry is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to provide clear guidance to students.
    • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills for maintaining productive relationships with students, universities, and staff.
    • Digital literacy, with a working knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM tools.
    • Problem-solving skills to handle different aspects of student counseling effectively.
    • Experience with study abroad processes and understanding of foreign education systems is preferred.
  • Personal Attributes:
    • Empathetic, approachable, and a good listener, focused on providing a personalized experience for students.
    • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
