We are seeking an enthusiastic Educational Counselor who is passionate about student success and effective communication. This full-time role is based in Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan, and offers the opportunity to assist students in navigating the often-complex process of selecting foreign education options based on their unique goals and aspirations.
Responsibilities:
- Student Guidance:
Assist students in making informed decisions about their academic and career pathways, including choosing the right educational institution and country for higher education. - Consultation Services:
Provide personalized counseling through one-on-one sessions to assess students’ academic qualifications, interests, and career goals, guiding them through suitable programs abroad. - Promote Educational Programs:
Conduct informative sessions and workshops to educate potential students and their families about various study abroad opportunities, foreign education systems, and career pathways. - Public Speaking Engagements:
Represent the company in public seminars, fairs, and consultation sessions, effectively communicating and delivering presentations that address student concerns and educational options. - Collaboration with Teams:
Work alongside a team of consultants, exchanging information and strategies to provide the best services to students. - Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain long-lasting, positive relationships with students and educational institutions, supporting them throughout their academic journey and application process. - Professional Development:
Continuously enhance counseling skills and industry knowledge through training sessions and hands-on experience, progressing toward becoming a seasoned consultant. - Promote Company Values:
Work within a culture of empathy, respect, and support, helping students and their families feel confident in their decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Educational Requirement:
A Graduation or Professional Qualification is required (Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent). - Experience:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the education consultancy or student counseling industry. Experience in foreign education systems is an advantage. - Skills:
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and institutions.
- Counseling Expertise: Ability to provide accurate guidance and advice on study abroad programs and career planning.
- Public Speaking: Proficiency in conducting seminars, workshops, and informational sessions.
- Digital Literacy: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Problem-Solving & Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while providing personalized services.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure the correct and up-to-date information is provided to students, with a keen eye for details.
