OneByte is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Responsibilities
As the Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Test Execution & Reporting:
- Execute existing automated test cases, analyze test results, and report defects to maintain software quality standards.
- Automation & Framework Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, regression, and performance testing of healthcare software applications.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the technical implementation team to understand healthcare provider requirements, clinical workflows, and regulatory considerations.
- Post-Deployment Verification:
- Conduct post-configuration and deployment verification and validation to ensure successful implementation and resolve issues reported by healthcare providers or patients.
- Ad-Hoc Testing:
- Perform ad-hoc testing on urgent customer-reported issues to identify root causes and mitigate impact on healthcare operations.
- Workflow Documentation:
- Document and maintain a deep understanding of healthcare provider workflows and clinical use cases to anticipate quality concerns.
- Enhancement Recommendations:
- Identify opportunities to improve software usability, clinical decision-making, and patient engagement based on customer feedback.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work with QA team members to identify automation requirements, test scenarios, and acceptance criteria that should be automated.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong practical experience with Cypress/Selenium frameworks for test automation.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC methodologies.
- Proficiency in relational database query concepts.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into application functionality.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, with the ability to address urgent software issues.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying software quality issues.
