Asad Gul TECH Recruiter is partnering with a leading client in the field of Machine Learning and AI technologies to recruit a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Muslim Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will bring over 4 years of experience in Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Python development. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating cutting-edge solutions with direct impact on business objectives for high-profile clients across various sectors. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with top-tier clients including Unilever, PepsiCo, and others, leveraging the latest developments in big data analytics, ML, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborative ML Use Case Development:
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify and develop Machine Learning use cases that align with business objectives.
- Design & Implementation of ML Models:
- Design, develop, and deploy robust machine learning algorithms and models that are scalable and efficient.
- Natural Language Processing (NLP):
- Apply NLP techniques for text analysis, sentiment analysis, and language understanding to process unstructured text data.
- Deep Learning Model Development:
- Train and fine-tune deep learning models for various AI-driven tasks.
- Model Optimization:
- Evaluate model performance, scalability, and efficiency to ensure they meet industry standards and client needs.
- Data Pipelines & Preprocessing:
- Build efficient data pipelines, perform data preprocessing, and extract valuable insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Real-time Data Processing:
- Handle real-time data streams and ensure the performance of deployed models remains consistent under heavy load.
- Staying Current:
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and AI technologies to innovate and keep models state-of-the-art.
- Mentorship and Technical Guidance:
- Mentor junior team members and provide ongoing technical guidance to cultivate a culture of knowledge-sharing and learning.
- Production Deployment & Collaboration:
- Work closely with software engineers for the deployment of ML models into production systems.
- Quality Assurance:
- Maintain model documentation and follow industry best practices in ML engineering to ensure high-quality solutions.
- Code Reviews and Continuous Innovation:
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards while ensuring innovation in your contributions to the organization.
Qualifications
- Education:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Machine Learning Experience:
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a Machine Learning Engineer.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Python programming and ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and text analysis techniques.
- Deep learning experience using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proficiency in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and data visualization.
- Version Control & Software Development Best Practices:
- Experience using version control systems like Git and familiarity with collaborative development practices.
- Problem-Solving & Innovation:
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a passion for developing innovative machine learning solutions.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Deployment Experience:
- Previous experience deploying ML models into production environments.
- Cloud Platforms:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Containerization:
- Experience working with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Big Data Technologies:
- Experience working with big data tools like Hadoop, Spark for data processing at scale.
- Open-source Contribution:
- Contributions to open-source ML projects or publications in the ML or AI field.
