Responsibilities

As a Solutions Engineer at i2c Inc., your duties will include:

  • Requirement Analysis & Specification: Elicit, analyze, elaborate, and document software requirements, covering functional, quality, usability, and non-functional aspects.
  • Business Context Study: Study the business context for software development, including business structures, stakeholders, systems, and software needs.
  • Impact Analysis: Facilitate project teams during the analysis of the impact for change requests on software.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), customers, and other requirements providers to gather and clarify business requirements.
  • Developing Specifications: Create requirement specifications and external design specifications and work with the architect team to refine them further.
  • Prioritizing Deliverables: Coordinate with requirement providers and project managers to prioritize deliverables.
  • Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving conflicts regarding requirements and ensure the team forms a common understanding of the requirements.
  • Product Enhancement: Act as an internal provider of product requirements, offering suggestions for enhancements and improvements.
  • Requirements Validation: Work closely with Architects, Quality Assurance, and stakeholders to validate requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to process definition and improvements, aligning with quality engineering teams.
  • Information Security: Ensure adherence to information security tasks within the scope of your role.
  • Full Project Lifecycle: Assist in full-cycle BI implementations from requirements gathering through to final delivery.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience in software requirements analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
    • Knowledge of the banking services, prepaid card domain, and financial services is highly preferred.
    • Understanding of systems engineering concepts.
    • Strong analytical reasoning abilities and experience with modeling techniques and methods.
    • Proficient in the creation of use-case diagrams, business model diagrams, and flowcharts.
    • Familiarity with bug reporting tools such as Jira or Quality Center.
    • Ability to conduct cost/benefit analyses and business case development.
    • Familiarity with full-cycle BI implementations, from requirement gathering to delivery.
    • Ability to understand, communicate, and prioritize software and system requirements.
    • Flexibility with working hours and willingness to adjust schedules as required.
