Punjab Tiles, a leading company in the Tiles and Construction industry, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team. This full-time, on-site role in Lahore requires a professional with 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly in the Tiles and construction industry. As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the financial operations crucial for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
As the Accounts Executive at Punjab Tiles, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Financial Projections & Expense Estimations: Prepare accurate financial projections and estimations for current and upcoming construction projects, ensuring the alignment of budgetary expectations.
- Maintaining Financial Records: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including managing ledgers, journals, and accounting documents.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Reporting: Assist with the preparation and submission of financial reports, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in managing tax-related duties, including GST and sales tax filings for relevant transactions.
- Vendor & Client Communication: Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and clients on financial matters to ensure effective collaboration and resolution of any outstanding issues.
- Payroll Processing: Support the payroll function as needed to ensure that employees are paid on time and in accordance with company policies.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, track cash flow, and report any discrepancies to senior management.
Qualifications
To qualify for the Accounts Executive role, candidates should possess the following:
- Educational Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: 4 to 5 years of experience in accounting, particularly within the tiles and construction sectors.
- Core Competencies:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Solid understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Ability to analyze financial data and provide insights for operational improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively within teams and with clients.
