We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement/Purchasing Officer to join the team at Citi Pharma Limited. This role is essential in ensuring seamless procurement operations, maintaining high standards of accuracy in record-keeping, and building positive vendor relationships to support the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities
As a Procurement/Purchasing Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and maintaining purchase orders (POs) and associated documentation.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date procurement records in physical and electronic formats.
- Updating procurement data in spreadsheets and databases using Microsoft Excel.
- Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assisting in vendor evaluation and selection to ensure optimal sourcing.
- Supporting the procurement team with day-to-day tasks and special projects as required.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor and team collaboration.
