NumDesk is seeking motivated and ambitious candidates for a Management Trainee position in Human Resources. As a Management Trainee HR, you will gain hands-on experience in all areas of Human Resources management, including policy development, employee benefits, and day-to-day personnel operations. This is a paid trainee program designed to develop the next generation of HR professionals through exposure to real-world challenges and direct mentorship. Upon successful completion of the program, there is the possibility for full-time employment with NumDesk.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Human Resources Support:
    • Assist in the daily management of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
    • Support HR team in policy implementation and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
  2. Employee Benefits Management:
    • Work closely with HR leadership to ensure smooth execution of employee benefits, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
    • Assist in tracking and managing employee compensation and benefits administration.
  3. Personnel Management:
    • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee data.
    • Assist in coordinating employee performance evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions where necessary.
  4. Training & Development:
    • Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in training programs aimed at enhancing employee skills.
    • Help organize company workshops and learning programs.
  5. Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with different departments to ensure HR programs align with company goals.
    • Work on HR-related projects with team members, ensuring projects are executed effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications and Skills

Required

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • HR Knowledge: Understanding of HR management principles, policies, and labor laws.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build relationships and manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Work Ethic: Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional HR environment.

Preferred

  • Experience: Previous experience in human resources or office administration (internships or part-time jobs) would be advantageous but not required.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and familiarity with HR software/tools (e.g., HRMS) is a plus.
