We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to participate in our Cyber Security Study & Internship Program. This remote, flexible internship is part of the Refonte Global Training & Internship Program (RIGTIP), designed to provide hands-on experience with real-world cybersecurity projects. You will work alongside a global team and develop essential skills in DevSecOps, application security, and cyber threat mitigation.

By participating in this internship, you will gain valuable exposure to cutting-edge security techniques and tools, all while helping secure the software development lifecycle of global projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • DevSecOps Integration: Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines that incorporate Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), and Interactive Application Security Testing (IAST) to integrate security into the software development process.
  • Application Security: Apply OWASP protocols in practical projects to secure applications.
  • Vulnerability Management: Assist in vulnerability assessments, reconnaissance, risk mitigation, and defend infrastructure and digital assets.
  • Ethical Hacking: Engage in practical exploits, vulnerability analysis, and system defenses reinforcement.
  • Risk Assessments and Threat Modeling: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and threat modeling for web application security.
  • Security Scanning: Use NMAP and NPING for network scans, detecting vulnerabilities beyond firewall and IDS protections.
  • Collaborative Security Practices: Work closely with the global team to troubleshoot and resolve security issues, develop defensive strategies, and improve organizational security posture.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field, or having a strong commitment to continuous learning in cybersecurity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate within a diverse, global team.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a remote team across various global regions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt and learn in dynamic cybersecurity environments.
