Zoli International (Pvt) Ltd. is looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Shopify websites, customizing themes, and creating seamless e-commerce solutions. You will also be tasked with converting mockups and designs into fully functional Shopify stores, debugging issues, and integrating third-party applications and APIs to optimize the performance of the e-commerce platform. Responsibilities

  • Shopify Store Development: Create custom Shopify stores that drive engagement and revenue by crafting intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly experiences.
  • Theme Customization: Develop custom themes and make adjustments to existing templates, following company guidelines to ensure consistency in design and functionality.
  • UI/UX Collaboration: Work alongside UI and UX teams to ensure an innovative and responsive user experience across all devices.
  • Shopify App Integration: Ensure smooth integration of Shopify apps, marketing tools, and third-party APIs to enhance functionality.
  • Testing & Debugging: Regularly test websites for performance, and debug issues using browser tools and other software to ensure optimized functionality and speed.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing coordination and technical support to resolve any potential issues and keep websites running smoothly.
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize websites to increase conversion rates and ensure a seamless shopping experience for users.
  • Collaborative Work: Assist in feedback sessions and collaborate closely with the team to meet deadlines and improve solutions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6/ES2015), and DOM.
    • Extensive experience with Shopify Liquid Templating, theming system, and Shopify’s Storefront API.
    • Expertise in developing and customizing Shopify themes and debugging third-party applications.
    • Familiarity with AJAX API and Shopify’s Meta fields and properties.
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience in building and maintaining Shopify stores, including the creation of custom themes and implementing unique features.
    • Prior experience with jQuery and JavaScript frameworks.
    • Solid understanding of responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices.
    • Hands-on experience working with third-party APIs, plugins, and services.
  • Skills:
    • Strong debugging and testing abilities using browser consoles and web tools.
    • Ability to interact proactively with clients and team members for feedback and improvement.
    • Effective time management and the ability to prioritize tasks.
