CNS Engineering is seeking a skilled System Administrator to join our IT team, specializing in Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory (AD), Exchange, and Hyper-V. Key Responsibilities
- System Architecture and Maintenance:
- Design, implement, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft-based solutions, including Active Directory (AD), Microsoft Exchange, and Hyper-V.
- Ensure optimal performance, security, and availability of AD and Exchange environments through regular monitoring and maintenance.
- Infrastructure Support and Issue Resolution:
- Provide comprehensive support for end-user systems, addressing client-side issues and escalation management.
- Act as the primary contact for OEMs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges in a timely manner.
- Emerging Technology Exploration:
- Explore and evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies to enhance the infrastructure performance.
- Continuously assess and adopt best practices to optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Contribute to the documentation process and provide input on infrastructure management and optimization.
- Self-Development and Certifications:
- Stay updated on the latest developments in Microsoft technologies through self-directed learning and certifications.
- Continuously expand your expertise to ensure the highest level of service.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory (AD), Exchange, and Hyper-V.
- Experience with Microsoft System Center products such as Configuration Manager (SCCM), Service Manager (SCSM), and Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including virtualization and infrastructure security.
- Proficiency in managing hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud).
- Knowledge of ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira is advantageous.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Preferred:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar certifications.
