The Careers Factory is seeking a Senior Associate Legal to join its team in Lahore, Pakistan. If you’re an experienced legal professional with a strong background in real estate law, this is an exciting opportunity to advance your career. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage a variety of legal matters, including drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial agreements. You’ll play an essential role in the success of real estate transactions and ensure compliance with industry regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Agreements: Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, lease contracts, and joint venture agreements related to real estate transactions.
  • Legal Research & Due Diligence: Conduct thorough legal research for various real estate projects and perform due diligence to identify potential risks and provide practical legal solutions.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Filings: Support the company in managing compliance with relevant laws and ensure corporate governance and timely regulatory filings.
  • Legal Disputes: Manage and handle legal disputes, including coordinating with internal and external legal teams to find effective resolutions.
  • Industry Regulations: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, advising the team on legal developments and providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks.
  • General Legal Support: Provide legal guidance on other related matters as needed, supporting business operations and ensuring legal integrity across the board.

Qualifications

  • Educational Requirements:
    • LLB (Hons.) required, with preference given to candidates holding LPC, BPTC, or LLM degrees.
  • Experience Requirements:
    • At least 3+ years of legal experience, with a focus on real estate transactions.
    • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements related to real estate.
    • Solid expertise in legal research, contract law, and dispute resolution.
  • Skills:
    • Fluency in English, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex legal matters.
    • Familiarity with local and international real estate laws and industry practices.
