Responsibilities

As a Branch Manager at Rainbow, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Managing and leading a team of staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring the store meets sales targets, manages stock effectively, and operates within budget.
  • Handling the recruitment, training, and development of staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Implementing company policies and procedures to uphold business standards.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ensuring that products are displayed in accordance with company merchandising guidelines.
  • Addressing customer queries and resolving complaints to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operational workflows.
  • Preparing and managing financial reports, ensuring operational targets are met within budget constraints.
  • Driving promotions and marketing efforts to enhance sales and customer engagement.

Qualifications

To be considered for the Branch Manager role at Rainbow, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Minimum intermediate education required.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within retail operations. Experience managing teams is preferred.
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong knowledge of Visual Merchandising and Inventory Management.
    • Expertise in Sales Management and achieving sales goals.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a proactive attitude.
    • Knowledge of Retail Operations, including financial management and reporting.
    • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make effective decisions under pressure.
    • Knowledge of food/non-food ultra-fresh products is a must.
    • Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team management.
