AESOM is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Project Manager (Civil) to lead and manage high-rise construction projects in Lahore. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project management, a strong background in civil engineering, and hands-on experience in managing high-rise projects. This full-time on-site position requires exceptional leadership skills, a thorough understanding of project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Manage High-Rise Construction Projects: Oversee the complete execution of high-rise projects, ensuring deadlines, budget constraints, and safety regulations are met.
- Project Planning, Budgeting & Scheduling: Develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and create schedules that optimize resources and timelines.
- Compliance & Safety Regulations: Ensure all activities are carried out according to established safety standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project execution.
- Progress Monitoring & Risk Management: Monitor project progress, address any risks, and ensure the project stays on track.
- Procurement and Material Management: Manage procurement processes including reviewing BOQs, obtaining RFQs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison: Communicate with external partners to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, progress, and deliverables. Ensure that final closeout documentation is collected from suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is preferred).
- Certification: PMP Certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-6 years of proven experience in high-rise construction projects, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Fluent English accent is required).
- Strong negotiation skills.
- International procurement experience is a plus.
- Timings: 6 PM to 3 AM, Monday to Friday (Night Shift).
